The folks at TVRM work hard to preserve historic train cars, giving people a real taste of what it would have been like to travel in the heyday of American railways.

One of the most unique and special experiences you can get with TVRM is an excursion in their historic Pullman dining car, still outfitted with its original 1920’s decor. Guests are served a three-course meal prepared right on the train in the kitchens.

There are two dining cars on the TVRM dining excursions, including this second car, another 1920’s Pullman dining car outfitted with open seating tables. You can choose which car you want to sit in when you make your booking.

The dining excursions last two hours and go out and back from the TVRM depot in Chattanooga. When you’re not eating, you’ll be able to enjoy some of the most stunning views in Tennessee.

If you don’t want a meal but still want to enjoy the train ride, TVRM offers tons of excursions for everyone! From special rides for kids to murder mystery excursions to Christmas trains featuring a visit from Santa himself, you’re sure to find a great adventure for you and your family.

Dining excursions can be booked at the TVRM website below, and tickets cost $70-$90 per person depending on the car you book your meal in. Guests also get choices between beef, chicken, and salmon, as well as a choice between three mouth-watering desserts. Book your trip today!
